The mask is called Okuyi, Mukuyi or Muggudi. Dancers wear Lapia cloth tightly and play fancy performance riding on a high bamboo (bamboo horse). They act violently, holding dry grass in one hand. People in many provinces in the Congo dance this dance believing that the ancestor dwells in the masks.
